Ruin pairs reverb with distortion in two distinct voices. Crypt runs a spring tank into a fuzz circuit, for ambience that sits in the dirt instead of floating above it. Drift sends the dry signal through sag-driven overdrive before the reverb, smearing transients into the tail.
Where most reverbs try to disappear behind a vocal or a guitar, Ruin makes the wet signal feel like part of the source rather than a sheen on top.
